Take a full day to explore an Island cum village called Pulau Ubin situated 30-minute-bumboat-ride away from Changi Village Terminal, Singapore. It is the last 'Kampung' (village) in Singapore. Rented cycles and guided tours are few of the ways to explore this beautiful nature reserve. Walking is the best way to discover Ubin, but could be tasking. Do not forget your DSLRs, Superzooms and Powershots!! There are lovely sights waiting to be captured by your cameras, lovely sounds awaiting to sooth your soul, fresh air scented with the smell of the Indian ocean waiting to titillate you. Keep your cameras ready to shoot huge spiders crawling beside you, variety of crabs, monitor lizards upto 2 metres in length, rubber plantations, a lovely lake and many more wonderful incidents along the way. In short, experience an exciting day filled with photowalk, naturewalk, adventure, cycling, etc.
